3-Ingredient Mixed Berry Smoothie


Sometimes we just don't seem to have enough time in the day. Instead of ditching breakfast or running to a fast food joint for a midday snack, try this quick and easy smoothie recipe to add a nutrient-rich boost to your routine. It's also a great way to take your vitamins without getting the aches and nausea that come with taking supplements on an empty stomach.


What you'll need

- 1 heaping cup of frozen mixed berries

- 1 cup of milk (cashew or almond for a healthier, dairy-free alternative)

- 3/4 cup of vanilla yogurt (or your favourite fruit for a sweeter flavour)


Instructions

1. Add the fruit, yogurt, and about 1/2 cup milk to the blender or food processor.

This is a great way to start your day. You can also add your favourite protein powders or pre-workouts for an energy boost, or flax seeds for extra fibre.
